Naked Moon Snail

The naked moon snail is unique for its unusually large size. While all moon snails inflate their bodies to become larger, the body of the naked moon snail can become so enormous that it can envelop its entire shell! In fact, it is so large that unlike most snails, the naked moon snail cannot withdraw its entire body into its shell when hiding!
