Red Tailed Racer
This non-venomous species subdues its prey using constriction, wrapping its body around the animal before swallowing it whole.
The blue tongue is more than just for show, it helps the snake collect chemical particles from the air, allowing it to "smell" its surroundings and detect prey, predators, and potential mates.
